This week for maths we learned about exponents. The exponent of a number says how many times to use that number in a multiplication. For our challenge this week we solved a question regarding how many heads the hydra (A one headed dragon in Greek mythology that grows 2 head for every 1 that is cut) Our main information was that it grows 2 head for every 1 that is cut. Our questions were how many heads would the Hydra have on the third day? And at the end of 10 days of trying to kill it?
