Food technology

L.I to learn knife skills

This week for tech we moved on to food technology, Our teacher was Mrs. Heka. In this lesson we learnt knife skills and we made a colorful fruit salad. Our ingredients were grapes, gold and green kiwifruit, oranges and 1 cup of yogurt. For our preparation we cut the both ends of the kiwifruit's so it would stand up still, Then with our knives we took the skin off. After that we diced them into bite sizes. After the we did the same thing with the orange we did the same the, but we used the lines to cut the orange into segments. It was easy for them grapes because we just cut them into halves, lastly we mixed everything together and it was ready to eat.
