L,I to be cybersmart and use our devices to, learn, create and share.

This week we learnt about the Keys, Shortcuts and safety guidelines of our Chromebooks, To do this we tested the knowledge by moving the labels to the correct keys. After that we Filled in the the different keys it takes for us to use a curtain shortcut.By doing this we can find out new thing that will hep us in our earning, for example I found that there is a key for highlighting your text.

This week for cybersmart we compared images that link to the topic and images that don't. It is important to link images to the information so the you reader can visualization. If you don't the reader will get confused with you information. Our task was to make a DLO that explains why we should link our images. We also created a vocaroo explaining this.

We made an interactive poster about legal images to explain what they are. Legal images images that you have permission to use.

L.I to understand the legal use of images

We learnt about legal and illegal images. A legal image is when the owner gives you right to use their image. An illegal image is when the owner doesn't allow you to use their image. To find legal images you can go to sites like pixabay or look at their licencing. To find illegal images you can go to sites like flickr. To recognize a legal image look at the licencing, if it says Cco the you know that it is a legal to use image. If the licencing says all rights reserved, that means that it is an illegal image and you can't use it.

L.I to make a poster using the four areas of print design

For Cybersmart we had to make a poster about one of the six simple machines that we learnt about i  inquiry. We had to keep in mind that all four areas of print design were good, which are, colour composition, text and layout.

For cybersmart we were given a slide that we had to fix. For each slide we had to fix one of the four main areas of the print design rules which are, colour, commotion, layout and text.

For Cybersmart we learnt about the print design rules. The print design rules are made up four things, composition, layout, color, and text. For out task we had to differentiate the slides into the column we thought was suitable for the slide, we also had to give it a thumbs up or thumbs down depending of if it was a good slide.

For cybersmart we took our thee questions from last week and answered the from the sites that we linked and  highlight the keywords from the answer.

For Cybersmart we cleaned our drives and put things in the right place. We did this to make getting documents easier.

L.I to attribute using our knowledge of copyright and fair use laws to credit where credit is due.

We learnt how to attribute images, here are the steps.

1. Go o  to google and click the tools.
a. labeled for reuse
b. This should show you what photos you can reuse.

2. Click the photo you want to use.
3. Copy that photo
4. Link the photo to the owners profile
5. Link the licence.

 Collaboration is working together to complete a task. Our must do was to make a meme about collaboration.

For cybersmart we learned about formal and informal language. Informal language is talking casually to your family and friends where you don't need to mind your words. Formal language is when your are speaking professionally and you mean business. For our must do, we were given different scenarios that we had to use both formal and informal language to talk in.

For Cybersmart we learned how to write good comments. A good comment has a greetings, question and a compliment. I commented on Chris blog post for reading.

 We learned how to write a blog post and what you need to write one. We used our care awards as an example. The first thing you need is what you did or learned in your blog. The second thing you need is how you did or learn something. The third and last thing you need is what you used to do or learn it.

This week for cybesrmart we learned about mart surfing through the internet. For this we went to a website to play multiple games that had questions about how we can stay safe on the internet. Our cybersmat must do was to write a quiz about mart surfing and things to avoid on the internet.

This week for cybersmart we finished our smart media slides. we had to write about how companies attract  customers and how  we use media.

This week for Cybersmart we learned about gimmicks in media. To do that we played a game, it was about the gimmicks they use to advertise cereals. Our must do was to write about those gimmicks and what they do to keep people coming for more.

For cybersmart this week we were looking at how to make quality comments. To make a quality comment we needed to include four things. they were: greeting and compliment, connection with the author, helpful comment, and encouragement. L.I to understand the purpose of the information presented in media.

For cybersmat we took two photos of ourselves one school image and one friends and family image. Then we had to write words to describe the pohoto. Lastly we had to go on a website called word cloud and paste all the words there and take a screenshot of it and put it on your slide.

For cybersmart we learned about netiquette and etiquette. Netiquette it the set of rules for how to behave online and  etiquette is a code of conduct for having good manners and treating other with respect. For our must do we had to make a simple google draw and write five netiquette rules.
