Ihumatao
L.I to identify the main ideas in a text
For reading we continued with our Ihumatao slides. This week we looked at the history of the land. For this activity we were given a link to an Radio New Zealand article about the history of the land and we had to fill it out in out on our slides from the first event to the latest.

Ihumātao
L.I to learn about Ihumātao
For reading we looked at the Ihumātao protest. The protest has been going on for a week. It is about a piece of land that the Maori and the protesters are fighting for, they believe that the land I their ancestors land and they want to keep it sacred. A housing company called Fletcher want to build houses on. We did four slides explaining what was going on using the Who,What, When,Where,Why, how long it takes to get there and more.
