This week for maths we solved a maths problem about Subway sandwich combos. We had to find out how much it would cost the school to buy these sandwiches for the classes and what the total amount would be. There were four different sandwich combos, a beef, chicken, ham and veggie combo, all of these combos cost 7 dollars exept for the chicken combo which cost 50 cents extra. The strategies I used were multiplication to find out how much it would cost to buy sandwiches for each class and addition to find out the total about the school would have to spend to buy the sandwiches for all of the classes.
