Periscopes

L.I to explain how a periscope works

Mr. Johnston came and taught what periscopes are, how they are used and who uses them. We found out that the angle the incidence is the angle of reflection. That means if the light hits the mirror at 45 degrees it reflects the light back at 45 degrees. It was fun because we got to play with a real periscope.

  1. Hi Vayan,
I have really enjoyed reading your DLO about periscopes. I find it quite interesting that there are two 45 degreed mirrors in it, also that they used periscopes in WW1 and 2. Would you particiate in WW1 or 2 and use a periscope? Why or why not? Next time I suggest adding more information so the readers have more information to read. Great DLO!

    Keep up the great work!

  2. Kia ora Vayan!

I really like your DLO about periscopes I have found it interesting that the periscopes where used in the world war 1 and 2 to spy on there opponents and that there are 2 mirrors in the periscopes that are placed at a 45 degree angle. This DLO is also similar to something that I have created before. I think that you should write a little more in your DLO about periscopes. I have one question for you, do you know who the inventor of the periscopes.
