L.I to building your own hotel.
I always love to stay in hotels during my Vacation. I have mostly stayed in hotels in Fiji, which are rated up to five star. All these hotel were located near the sea and had its beautiful white sandy beaches. I always wished that I would like to own my own hotel and always admire the way hotels are being build with those expensive materials. One thing that I always appreciate is the use of local raw materials like bamboo and sea and river stones in decorating the rooms and the structures.
I would like to have my hotel where it is mostly sunny like Australia or Fiji near a beach. Concrete, granite, tiles steels are the common materials which are use in buildings. The hotel I would like to build will include lot of local raw materials and it will have a modern touch with traditional one as well.
I am a Year 8 student at Panmure Bridge School in Auckland, NZ. I am in Learning Space 2 and my teachers are Mrs Anderson and Mrs Fisi'iahi.

How to make pizza
L.I to pizza {My favorite food}.
Today I will teach you how to make pizza. Pizza originates from Italy and is a savory dish. Did you know that traditionally, if you make pizza using sweet things, it is not considered as a pizza.
The first step of making pizza is to make a dough.
The first step is to pour one and a half cups of warm water into a large bowl and sprinkle with yeast, then let that stand for about five minutes. After five minutes, whisk sugar, oil and salt into the mixture, add flour and stir until a sticky dough forms. Leave the dough to expand, for about two hours in an oiled bowl.
Then spread the pizza dough with your four fingers to a circle shape. After that start off by spreading pizza sauce on the dough. The second most important ingredient cheese. Spread your favorite type of cheese on the sauce {Mostly mozzarella}. Now when you are finished adding those two ingredients, then you can add any vegetable and or meat of your choice to suit your taste bud.
Lastly put the pizza in the oven at a 250 to 260 degrees for about 20 minutes or until the crust starts to turn brown and the cheese starts to bubble. There are different types of pizza base, but I like the crust one.

My home town
L.I to describe your hometown.
My Hometown
Hometown is described as a place where one is born and grew up. I have more than one hometown as my parents kept moving due to the nature of their work. I was born in Lautoka, in Fiji Islands. However for my first five years, I grew up in Nadi in Fiji.
I moved to Tavua, a small suburb when I was six years old. Tavua is two towns away from Lautoka. My grandparents from mom and dads side lives in Tavua. Tavua is a rural town with about 5000 population. The livelihood of people depends on farming and some work in the oldest gold mine and a natural water bottling factory. All three of my hometowns were in western part of Fiji. Tavua did not offer lot of opportunities for extra activities, therefore I use to travel to Nadi for my swimming and Karate classes in the weekend. I lived in Tavua for 3 years before moving to New Zealand.
My current hometown in New Zealand is Auckland and I live in suburb named as Panmure. I live in the main Panmure town and this hometown offers a lot opportunities for extra curricular activities. Leisure pool, library and parks are just stone throw from home. There is lot of multiracial people who lives in this town and I enjoy interacting and knowing them an their cultures and lifestyles.
I am glad that I have many hometowns. Moving away from one is heartbreaking as I left my family and friends behind but on the other hand it helped me to learn and experience so many new things in life.

My Beast
L.I to create a beast.
Here is my beast. His name is Isaac because I thought that it would be a really cool name. It has a wolf head, a human body with a cool sun glass and it shows that he is ready for the summer. On top he wears nothing and on bottom he wears blue shorts. He also has green eagle wings so he can fly to anywhere he wants to. Isaac likes to have fun on the beach and also likes to eat.
WWF goals
L.I :
To research about the World Wildlife Fund.
The WWF stands for World Wildlife which was formed on 1961. This organization aims to protect life on planet. Over the years, this organisation have funded many projects all over the world to protect animal and its heritage.
How do they help the Freshwater seals:
One of the projects funded by WWF is to protect the seals which became endangered in Lake Saimaa in Finland. The ice in Lake Saimaa became very thin due to climate change. Thin layers of snow is not suitable for the seals to form lairs to give birth. The new born were left on the surface of ice and were prone to predators. The WWF helped in protecting this endangered species of this Lake by building snow banks. The snow banks helped seals to form lairs and the new born are protected from predators.
They help the Freshwater Seals by making snow banks for them so the pups can stay warm.
How do they help the Tigers:
WWF have volunteers in different part of the world. These volunteers help as a wildlife rangers protecting tigers in harsh weather and from poachers.
Have they had any success in doing so:
WWF had lot of success in protecting wildlife. Tiger protector project have lead to increase in wild tiger numbers in the world which increased for the first time in hundred years. Likewise the number of other endangered species number have increased as well. These animals include Panda, turtles, Amur Leopard, Gorillas and many sea animals.
