Printing prosthetics

L.I to learn about prosthetics

For this task we had to watch a video about 3D printed prosthetics. We also had to talk about one thing we learnt and one thing we were surprised by. The thing that I learnt is that they're purely mechanical, the thing I was surprised by are that they're giving these out to people for free.

  1. Hello Vayan,
I am Vitaraag and I am participating in the Summer Learning Journey this year. What an amazing blog post you have created. I really like how you explained in your own words what you have to do for the activity. I also like how you explained what you learned in detail. If I had a hand like that then I would pretend I am Thanos because he has a gauntlet and the 3-d prosthetic hands look like a gauntlet. Have you watched Avengers? Maybe next time you could add some information about the back story to the activity. Overall, this is a phenomenal blog post. Keep up the astonishing work!

  2. Hi Vayan, Mrs Collins from Manaiakalani here commenting on blogs over term break. Well done on posting and participating in the SLJ this year. It's amazing what 3D printers can do isn't it! What design would you print on the prosthetics? Keep blogging, and commenting on others, to increase your chance of winning one of the awesome prizes and to keep up your learning over the school break!
