On Tuesday 30th of July 2019 Learning Space 1 went to MOTAT to explore and do tasks. We did two tasks, our first task was to make a electric car using batteries, cardboard, a motor, tape, scissors, wheels, axle, propeller. The body of the car was made out of cardboard, we used skewers, our hardest challenge was putting the motor on the car itself. Our second activity was trying to generate enough power to get a flashlight working, we used cogs and Lego pieces to try and get the motor spinning so the light could flash. After that we went to a replica of an old village in the nineteenth century and other cool antique artifacts like planes used in world war I and II.
