Question number 2: What was the most difficult part. For me the most difficult part was learning the lines.
Question number 3: What would you change in the future. I would change my expressions and practice more.
Question number 4: Do you thing your oral language improved. I think it did a little bit.
Question number 5: What things would help if your teacher did them. I think if my teacher did them I could express better.

Earth and byond
L.I To activate our prior knowledge about science, earth and beyond.
This week for inquiry, we have started a new rotation. To start off we have had a bus stop activity to complete. The point of this activity was to activate our prior knowledge, and to build it. Prior knowledge is what you already know, and to build it is to expand your knowledge. Because our topic is space, our questions were What do we know about science, What do we know about space, How does space affect us on earth, What do you know about the planets in our solar system, What do you know about the moon, What do you know about the sun, and finally What words do you know that are associated with space. For this task, Learning Space 2 collaborated with Learning Space 1, and we have all enjoyed it.

Inquiry
L.I to build your own rockets
For Inquiry we started building our straw rockets. Our independent variable (the thing that we changed) was different nose cones. We mad one with a round nosecone, one with a flat nosecone and one with a pointy nosecone. Lastly we wrote our distances and the flat nosecone had the best average with a distance of 2 m and 50 cm and our hypothesis (prediction) was proven wrong because we chose the pointy nosecone.

Star dome
L.I to learn about space
On Tuesday 21 of may, LS1 went to star dome observatory to learn more about space.
First of we went into a room where john explained to us how the solar system worked and also taught us how stars, planets and moons were formed. After that we did a scavenger hunt with our groups to find answers to a set of questions that was given to us. Lastly we watched a movie to learn about the weather on the sun, moons and other planets. There are more wilder weather's on other planets like Mars's dust storms that are taller than Mt. Everest and some the same size.

Maths
L.I to figure out word problems
For maths we solved word problems on a google doc. I did this by following the procedure that was given on the doc. I learnt by paying attention. The tootls we had was a google doc and a white board. The first part we drew a picture of what the problem meant, after that we had to explain what we had to do in words. Then we had to write what the Starting number and the Agent number(s) were, after doing tat we had to do the working out of the problem. Lastly we wrote a full sentence. In total there were 8 problems and the strategies we used were place value, compensating, adding in parts and algorithm.

L.I to cause and effect
For writing we did cause and effect. First we played a game, in this game we had to match up twenty cause and effect cards together, but Mr. Ogilvie threw the cards all over the place and my group couldn't find all the cards so that took quite a bit of time. For our must do we made a cause and effect scenario's about LS1 and the adding the casual language to link with the cause and effect scenario's.
