Too much technology
L.I to identify the main ideas in a text
For reading we were given a persuasive text to read, my text was called too much technology. First we had to write what we think the text will be about before we read it. After we read the text we had to answer ten questions, we had to answer them and put them in one of four columns. After that we write about all the new information we got but before we could put it on we had to check if it was all correct information. After we finished that we wrote our new understandings about technology. Lastly we made a flip grid video telling either if we agree with the text or not.

Kiwi Can
L.I to show self discipline
For Kiwi Can we focused on self discipline, self discipline is controlling yourself. For this topic we played two games that required self control.
The first game was called rats and rabbits, in this game two people (one rat and one rabbit) had to get the cone before their opponent did. After that we talked about coping with challenges and things you're scared of. For our activity we had to do four challenges, each of them we had to complete in one minute. Our first challenge was doing five push ups, five sit ups, five squats and five burpees in one minute, this was my favorite challenge because it was a physical activity except for the push ups.
The second challenge we did was matching the Maori colour names to the English colour names in one minute, this challenge was hard for me because I don't know many words in Maori. Our third challenge was recreating the Kiwi Can catchphrase in one minute and them do it in front of the class, creating different actions were hard because we had to be really creative. Our fourth and last challenge was writing the alphabets backwards, this challenge was hard because we had to think a lot.
