He was in the army from September 1915 to October 6 1915. The sites that gave all the information for the infographic are Walking with the Anzacs and Auckland museum Cenotaph.

Ki o rahi

L.I to learn how to play Ki o rahi

For Kiwisport we played three games of Ki o rahi. In the game there are two team's the Kioma team and the Taniwha team. The Kioma team is allowed in Te ao which translates to world in English, They can only run through Te rotor and into pawero when a person in the Kioma team has the Ki (ball) and makes and attempt to score a try. The Taniwha team is allowed in Te rotor and Te ao, their main goal is to score points by hitting Tupu and stopping the Kioma team from scoring a try.

Hauora

L.I to learn about Hauora

For inquiry we learnt about Hauora, Hauora mean's being healthy in all four dimensions which are Social, physical, mental and emotional and spiritual well being. This week we had three must do's to do, for the first activity we had to pick and iten that had four core parts that this item could not work without, I did a table. Then we had to colour code each leg for the different dimensions. For the second activity we were given scenario's to us and we had to put them in the right dimensions. Lastly, for the third activity we made our own scenario's both good and bad for the four scenario's. I think that I am unhealthy in Taha Hinengaro (Mental and emotional well being)

Kiwi Can

L.I to build positive relationships

Today in kiwi can we were learning about Friendship. We talked about situations where it is OK to say no! We disused different ways to say No that don't cause disrespect. We did a activity called empathy role play. A group acted a situation and as a class we needed to decide the way to say No. Our options were No thanks, Let's do something else instead, It's just not my thing and That's not a nice thing to do.

Writing imaginative recounts

L.I to write an imaginative recount

For writing we rewrote the story little red riding hood as a recount. The type of recount we did was an imaginative recount, an imaginative recount is writing a recount from your imagination. This week we did the  new Title ideas, plan and the reveal. We did the plan in bullet points to make it easier for us to write the whole recount on. For the reveal we used the five w's they are who, what, when, where and why.
